We discovered two key factors affecting this product:The wireless charging module at the top and volume minimization

In the user journey shown above, we found two key touch points : 1.Recognize and use their handles 2. Use different types of charging interfaces

As we explore around key touch points, we explore different kinds of handle ways to achieve the best user experience

In the course of the sketch, since a soft handle is similar to a luggage case by using the physical properties of the skin-friendly material and good load-bearing to match with a pure external shape

Secondly, the integrated handle is the most common type in similar competitive products, whose stability and structural strength could pass the drop test

Thirdly, we tried a handle that folds over so that the flip structure well achieved the functionality of the handle with the minimal volume, but also integrated into the overall shape

Intuitive design. the first two forms of handle will prevent the user from subconsciously putting down the phone to charge

In summary, we focus on the type 3 handle under the conditions of volume minimization and wireless charging

The hidden handle increases the user's identification cost to some extent, so we choose a bright material color

To meet the area required for heat dissipation, the ergonomic size of the handle and the size specification of LOGO, we finally chose the proportion division of the bright material of the 25CM version

On the front screen outline, we have maintained the consistent super ellipse design of Growatt to ensure familialization system

Affordance, no matter from the concave area of wireless charging or the round feature of the side folding handle, we provide users with clues to its correct operation invisibly without reading the instructions

To comply with mass production, we studied the width and spacing of the grating and the positive and negative shapes formed by the actual circular heat dissipation holes to a certain extent.

3D printing to verify size

With the Watt+ feature, VITA 550 could enable heavy-duty devices below 1050W to operate, which breaks through the limits of what a portable power station can do

The concave area of wireless charging and circular gradient pattern provide users with clues to its correct operation invisibly without instructions

The rounded features on the sides suggest the swivel function of the handle

Lightweight overall weight 17.99lbs

With the interference fit with the soft rubber material, the collision sound and wear of the shell when the hand is put down are alleviated

In the original version, we chose Growatt initial letter "G" as the decorative element, but in the end, considering the possible customer complaints caused by shedding, we changed the design.
